Built for the ride. Sure, cutoff jeans are economical and work just fine for short-distance rides, but when you're in the saddle for more than a few minutes at a time, shorts actually designed for the rigors of riding make all the difference. That's where Chrome's new Folsom Shorts come in.
These shorts are made from the Everest fabric, which is not only water-resistant and durable, but also offers 4-way stretch. This means that they're going to pull sweat away from your skin and repel moisture at the exterior. In other words, you're going to stay dry, cool, and comfortable throughout your ride.
In terms of construction, Chrome has designed the Folsoms specifically for riding. The shorts feature a five-bar webbing U-Lock holster and "floating" rear pockets to prevent chafing. Additionally, the crotch is double-gusseted and seamless, providing extra comfort and durability. Plus, the shorts are sewn with a three-needle flatlock stitch throughout in order to prevent irritation. Your skin will thank you for leaving the cutoff dungarees in the closet.
Note: Chrome has updated the fit this season to be more true-to-size. So, if your old pair of Folsoms fit fine, you'll want to buy one size smaller this go-round.
