So with this i can cut my own pipe as the crossbars and save money? Regular pipe is made to bend. The Yakima bars are tempered to hold the load.James

Will these fit landing pad 18? The Rounbar Adapters are used to mount the older style Roundbars to our current model Towers, they do not mount directly to a Landing Pad. The Skyline Towers are the correct towers to mount to our Landing Pads, the Roundbar Adapter would then be used to mount the Roundbars to the Skyline Towers.

Can these be mounted to the top of a universal mighty mount? These are specific for mounting Yakima RoundBars to one of the Yakima StreamLine Towers (BaseLine, TimberLine, SkyLine, RidgeLine).
