It is sourced from farms in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) and undergoes an innovative tanning process that eliminates the use of chrome, heavy metals, and dangerous acids. This process simplifies tanning, reduces the use of chemicals and energy, and saves water by approximately 40% and salt by 80%. Additionally, the water used in tanning is recyclable.
