Moving on to some frequently asked questions, let's address them as statements:

I don't think the seat is warranted, but mine does creak and flex some. However, it is within the normal range for a discount seat attachment. The mount on the boat is sturdy enough for my weight at 188 lbs, but the board it's mounted on is starting to bow a little. The main complaint I have about the boat is that it is not wide enough to hold more gear.

Thank you for your interest in Sea Eagle Boats. Our 285FPB is not rated for whitewater rapids, so it is not suitable for use in class 3 rapids.

The weight tag indicates that the boat is made in China.

I have successfully mounted the seat and floor backward for trolling in reverse for extended periods. It provides more comfort as you don't have to reach behind you to steer. Additionally, I converted my minkota c2 55 into a bow mount for more control and room. The setup looks promising, and I will post pictures next time I inflate the boat.
