Created by Sara Nazim, an experienced climber and Outdoor Research Product Manager, the ActiveIce Hijab is the result of her vision to develop a technical hijab that provides a secure fit without the need for pins.

This hijab is engineered for use with helmets, featuring a fitted stretchy knit around the face. Its hidden shock cord back adjustment ensures a snug fit during high-intensity activities, while preventing hair from touching the neck.

Made with the innovative ActiveIce fabric, this hijab offers cooling properties and lightweight UPF50+ sun protection, making it perfect for long hours spent outdoors.

Throughout the development process of the ActiveIce Hijab, we collaborated with Marjana Tafader of Young Women Who Crush. Marjana, an avid climber and mentor in NYC, played a pivotal role in the ideation, design, and testing of this exceptional product.
