Does It fit and work for big people? 300 lbs

My son is 300 lbs and is very comfortable in it.

What type of device activates it hydrostatic or plug?

I really don't know. All I know is once submerged it activates plus there is also a manual pull to activate.

Is there any reflective on vests?

There is no reflective on this vest, although the internal bladder is yellow.
