Lixada Kayak Sun Shade Canopy

Lixada Kayak Sun Shade Canopy

Description

The Lixada Kayak Boat Canoe Sun Shade Canopy is specially designed for a single person kayak. It is made of durable oxford cloth and strong aviation aluminum rod, ensuring its longevity. The material used is ripstop and water-resistant, providing excellent protection against the wind and water. With approximately 8 sq. ft. of coverage, it keeps you cool while fishing on the water. The canopy connects firmly to your kayak, protecting you from sunburn.

The installation process is easy, and it comes with a storage bag, making it convenient to carry. It folds compact and is lightweight, ideal for outdoor adventures. Whether you're kayaking or canoeing, this sun shade canopy is a great addition to your gear.

Now, let's answer some frequently asked questions:

"I have a pelican trailblazer 10’. What would I attach this to?"

To install, I bought the "Lixada 180 Degree Rotation Kayak Canopy Mount Base for Inflatable Boat Canoe Awning Sun Shelter." I plan on drilling holes in it to mount to my kayak with bolts.

"So these will only work on kayaks that have fishing pole holes, correct? Anything for kayaks that don’t have fishing pole holes?"

You can add fishing pole holes. It's pretty easy and not terribly expensive. Did it for hubby's kayak.

"Don't you think it's pretty lame to not put in any instructions? I even bought the z mount."

It's always good to have written instructions. That said, the setup is pretty simple, and they do have a picture on the Amazon entry. Good luck!

"Does this come with the gear to install it?"

There is no gear to install, but it helps to add flush fishing pole holders on each side behind the seat for the rear poles. The front just ties off on your bow handle.
