Description

Today, I will be reviewing the KAKIT 750D 3 4 Bow Bimini Top Different Size Boat Cover. This boat cover is made with marine-grade fabric, which includes a surface UV coating, PU coating, and marine-grade 750D/260GSM polyester fabric. With a water resistance of up to 4000mm, this cover is designed to be sturdy and durable, featuring double overlapped stitching.

One standout feature of this bimini top package is the inclusion of two rear support poles. These poles increase wind loading and are also easy to fold, saving space and making them convenient for future use. It's worth noting that other cheaper products on Amazon do not come with rear support poles, making this a valuable addition to the package.

In terms of accessories, the KAKIT 750D Boat Cover comes with two rear support poles, two adjustable windproof straps, four deck mounts, and a zippered storage boot. All the mounting hardware is made of anti-rust stainless steel, ensuring that the cover is more corrosion resistant than those with plastic hardware. Additionally, the package includes marine-grade 316 stainless steel deck hinges with a quick-release pin, making fixing and releasing the cover easy.

The bows of this boat cover are sturdy and anti-rust, thanks to the double-walled 1' diameter and 1.5mm thickness aluminum frame. The surface is coated with anti-oxidation spray paint, making it lightweight yet durable and preventing rust.

Now, let's move on to some frequently asked questions about the KAKIT 750D 3 4 Bow Bimini Top Different Size Boat Cover.

Question: My boat is 2000 capri 1600 series 16ft. Does it work and what size do you recommend?

Answer: Mine works great. The length is not so relevant. It’s the width that is more important. Measure to get the right width for your size boat. The kit comes with stainless steel screws to fasten the canopy poles to the sides of the boat. I got the 8-foot size so it would cover more of my boat and keep me out of the sun. You may want a smaller one if you need more room to fish.

Question: Would this fit a typical 96-inch wide pontoon?

Answer: If you're getting the one that lists it as 96" wide, it should work. I guessed at mine because the boat was in the shop when I ordered. I ended up getting the one that was 67-72" wide, and when I got the boat back I measured it at 65" at the widest part I could get it on. It ended up working just fine. There is some flex to the poles, so there is some play there. Since it does flex some, there is also some side-to-side play when on the water.

Question: I purchased a new boat and do not want to repurchase a Bimini top. Do you have any extenders for the width?

Answer: There are no extenders for the width, but this brand does make one in the size up that you need. Search for it in the "like items" section below the item you are looking at. You will need the 72-79 inch size. This is a phenomenal Bimini cover for the price. It comes with a great boot, and it is waterproof! Water does not penetrate, and the material is of good quality. The support poles are slightly more flimsy (not when fully installed- then it is very sturdy) compared to high-end biminis, but for this price, you could buy four for the same price as the expensive ones. I love this Bimini.

Question: A boat measures 84 1/2. So what kit do I want, 79 to 84 or 85 to 90?

Answer: Get the 79 to 84 size. There will be plenty of play in the frame.
