Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle

Description

The Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle with Polypropylene Blades and Wrapped Fiberglass Shaft is a high-quality paddle that offers great performance on the water.

One of the key features of this paddle is the glass-filled polypropylene blades. These blades are not only lightweight, making it easy to maneuver the kayak, but also highly durable, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of frequent use.

The asymmetrical, slightly curved blade shape of the Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle allows for smooth and efficient strokes. This design helps to reduce resistance and increase paddling efficiency, making it easier to cover longer distances with less effort.

The wrapped fiberglass shaft of the paddle is another standout feature. The fiberglass material makes the shaft both lightweight and strong, offering a perfect balance of durability and weight. Additionally, the wrapped fiberglass shaft provides a more comfortable grip, making it easier to hold the paddle in hot or cold temperatures.

An ovalized shaft indexes the proper grip area, ensuring that you always have a secure and comfortable hold on the paddle.

The Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle also features a no-fail push-button takedown system. This allows you to easily feather the blades at 60-degrees or set them inline, giving you complete control over your paddling technique. Whether you are right or left-handed, this paddle can accommodate your preferred style.

Now let's answer some frequently asked questions about the Carlisle Magic Plus Kayak Paddle:

I just got this paddle. Why does the right grip have extra cushion (larger diameter grip) than the left grip?

I have the same paddle except my handle is carbon fiber. It could be because the one shaft the male end has to be inserted into the female end which is just a bit larger. I would think that could be the only logical reason.

What is the width and length of the blade?

nrs.com has the blade size listed as 17.78cm W x 44.45cm L. (7in x 17.5in).

What is the blade size?

The blade is 18” long and 7 1/4” wide.

Does this paddle have hand grips?

Not sure what you call hand grips. There are rubbers that prevent water from getting you all wet on the paddles. You just hold the paddle with your hands and paddle behind the rubber part.
