In harsh and frigid environments, it is crucial to use all three parts of the weights in conjunction with the Mixte pick. However, when using the Ice pick, we recommend using only the two main parts of the weights without the middle insert. This configuration ensures optimum functionality and efficiency for your ice climbing adventures.
