There's no need to worry in advance, just ensure you have a valid Florida fishing license and the free Shark fishing permit course from the FWC. All the necessary fishing equipment, including rods, rigs, and bait, will be provided.

Feel free to bring your family along, as spectators get in for free. Kids over 13 can participate in fishing, but those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Life vests are not required for shore fishing. Catch, tag, and release will be the practice. Your guide will provide chairs and water, but don't forget to bring some snacks for a refreshing experience.
