Welcome aboard The Marylander! We are Maryland's top charter boat on the Chesapeake Bay. Located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, in Stevensville, MD, we are conveniently close to Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.

The Marylander is a 48' Chesapeake vessel, commissioned in 1999. Powered by a 430 HP 6CTA Cummins Marine Diesel engine, it offers the comfort of heating and air conditioning. Amenities onboard include a restroom, two bunks in the forward cabin, a spacious dinette, and seating under a shaded canopy. Our crew ensures that the Marylander is well-maintained.

Captain Jason and our experienced crew have spent a lifetime navigating the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. We specialize in targeting Striped Bass ("Rockfish"), as well as other species like Blue Fish and Spanish Mackerel, using techniques such as trolling, live lining, chumming, and jigging. We take pride in providing you with the best fishing experience.

During your trip, we at Maryland Fishing and Hunting will provide all the necessary fishing equipment, including rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and fishing licenses. Our aim is to increase your chances of a successful day on the Chesapeake Bay! Additionally, our First Mate will be there to assist you throughout your voyage, working for tips only.

After your fishing adventure, we will clean your catch for you. It is customary and greatly appreciated to give a gratuity of 20% to the First Mate, who works diligently before, during, and after your trip.

We recommend bringing a camera to capture the memorable moments and the beautiful sights of the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to pack your own food, drinks, sunblock, ice for preserving your catch, appropriate clothing, and rain gear.
